The Copil defines the main scientific priorities, discusses and implements the proposals of the COS, manages the setting up and monitoring of the working groups and liaises with the committee of experts. Within its scope, it is in charge of the organisation of the annual Arbo-France scientific symposium.
The Copil is made up of about fifteen researchers in human and animal health based in mainland France and the French overseas territories (Antilles/Guyana, South Pacific, Indian Ocean). It brings together transversal and complementary skills in arbovirology (clinical, entomology, human and social sciences, etc.). This committee is also made up of people representing the COS.
The Arbo-France Steering Committee (Copil) is chaired by Myrielle Dupont-Rouzeyrol (IP New Caledonia) until February 2023.
