Arbo-France is a French network for the study of arboviruses whose objective is to facilitate preparedness and response to human and animal arbovirus epidemics in mainland France and in the overseas territories.

Arbo-France was set up at the request of the REACTing/Aviesan to cope with the increasing number and severity of arbovirus epidemics, the extension of these viruses to new geographical areas and the risk of emergence of other arboviruses.

ARES – European Society of Arbovirology

ARES brings together key stakeholders in human and animal arbovirus research across Europe, following a One Health approach. The Arbo-France network actively contributes to ARES’ activities through several of its members.

ARES aims to:
• Strengthen scientific knowledge on arboviruses
• Identify and prioritize research needs
• Support collaborative projects
• Promote the training of young researchers
• Enhance the visibility of research at the European and international levels

ARES organizes scientific events, publishes recommendations, supports field initiatives, and advises health authorities.
