Arbo-France is a French network for the study of arboviruses whose objective is to facilitate preparedness and response to human and animal arbovirus epidemics in mainland France and in the overseas territories.
Arbo-France was set up at the request of the REACTing/Aviesan to cope with the increasing number and severity of arbovirus epidemics, the extension of these viruses to new geographical areas and the risk of emergence of other arboviruses.


Objectives
Arbo-France objectives are to :
- create a watch and alert system with REACTing/Aviesan
- improve the visibility of arbovirus research in France and internationally
- assist in setting up research projects
- provide expertise on specific topics
