ARbovirology European Society (ARES) is a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional network to promote studies on human and animal arboviruses and the development of control methods against the corresponding diseases.

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objectives
To provide expertise to health authorities and research institutions
To improve the scientific understanding of human and animal arboviruses
To identify research priorities in arbovirology field
To assist in setting up research projects on arboviruses, with a One Health approach
To improve the visibility of research on arboviruses, in Europe and beyond
To foster a new generation of arbovirologists in Europe
Activities
Promotion of studies on arboviruses
Communication, dissemination and advice
Organization of meetings, conferences, workshops
Support/funding of scientific missions and trainings
HOW TO JOIN US
How to become member of ARES?
To join ARES, you must be sponsored by someone who is already part of the Society.
Please get in touch with one of the ARES members : she/he will evaluate your candidature, together with ARES Governing Board.
This is the only procedure to follow to become ARES member.
