First ARES meeting in Padua (Italy)

The first ARES annual meeting was held in Padua (Italy) on the 15^th June 2023. The General Assembly (open to ARES members only) took place in the morning. In the afternoon a joint scientific session entitled “From genomics to virus collection” was co-organised with the European Virus Archive (EVA-G). The morning presentations were focused on plant viruses, whereas the afternoon was focused on Arboviruses.
