Fellowship Programme – Start 2025: Results of the ANRS “PhD Fellowships”

The “Fellowship Programme 2025” is the first initiative launched under the new ANRS MIE scheme specifically dedicated to early-career researchers. This call aimed to fund two types of fellowships:

  • Individual PhD fellowships, for promising scientists working on research topics within the scope of ANRS MIE.

  • Master 2 fellowships, for young researchers from the agency’s international network who wish to develop a research career.

As part of this 2025 call for applications focused on emerging infectious diseases (EIDs), 10 PhD fellowships have been awarded.
Among them, 4 projects are directly related to arbovirus research and to the scientific priorities of the Arbo-France Network, reflecting the growing contribution of early-career scientists in this field.
